KAREN BENKE is an expert in the field of arts organization management and fundraising. A distinguished poet as well as a poetry teacher, Ms. Benke has served as a poet-teacher and area coordinator with California Poets in the Schools since 1990. She currently serves on this non-profit corporation's Board of Directors. A recipient of numerous arts grants in her own right, Ms. Benke has broad experience in grant-writing, budgeting and general arts administration, all of which prove uniquely valuable in her capacity as a consultant to The Art Law Group.
